Dubai Properties for Indian Buyers

Before you buy in Dubai
Sending money. Resident Indians can invest in overseas property under the RBI's Liberalised Remittance Scheme — up to USD 250,000 per person per financial year. TCS applies above the threshold; confirm current rates with your bank or CA.
Off-plan or ready. Off-plan homes are paid in stages into a regulated escrow account and registered with the Dubai Land Department (Oqood); ready homes can be rented immediately.
Costs. Budget for the DLD transfer fee (typically 4%), registration and trustee fees, and annual service charges.
Residency. Property of AED 2 million or more can qualify for a UAE Golden Visa, subject to current rules.
